Supporting Reading Success for All Students in Connecticut: Where We’ve Been, and Where We’re Going.
The Black and Puerto Rican Caucus, Commission on Women, Children and Seniors, and Commission on Equity and Opportunity jointly host a presentation of the current status of the work of the Connecticut K-3 Literacy Initiative (CK3LI), a partnership including the State Department of Education, the Neag School of Education at UCONN, HILL for Literacy, and Literacy How.
- A newly produced CK3LI video featuring students, parents, teachers, administrators, and state leaders
- An overview of the program by its program leadership team, and its vision for the next steps of implementing tiered K-3 reading supports for Connecticut’s schools
- Stories from the field, featuring examples of how CK3LI has impacted students and teachers.
- The perspective of the state’s reading director on CK3LI, and a vision for the future.
