Give The Gift Of Literacy
Illiteracy places an unfair burden on children, and we are committed to helping struggling readers across the country. According the latest NAEP results, 65% of 4th graders in the US fail to read at grade level each year. We can help them by expanding the reach of our effective, research-based programs to more schools and districts. But we need your help to do it.
Our Impact
Figures from School Year 2024-25
10,800+ teachers trained
564 schools served
192,000+ children impacted
76 cents of every dollar spent goes toward our work in schools
Teachers are saying it feels so good to know that I’m doing something that’s going to impact. Before I was sort of guessing, hoping I was doing the best I could, and now I have the skills, I have the knowledge, I have the confidence to know that the practices I’m using in my classroom are definitely going to impact students’ ability to read.

Make A Difference
Every day we learn of a new challenge – teachers and students who need our help in schools nationwide. We know that schools across the country are struggling in this time of teacher shortages, constrained budgets, loss of federal support, and skyrocketing costs.
We can’t do this work alone. While we receive fees from school districts for our work, we are a mission-driven 501(c)3 nonprofit and fees don’t cover the cost of all we provide. We depend on donations from foundations and dedicated donors like you.
Your contribution will help us reach more students than ever this year and bring us another step closer to a world where every child is a reader.
