Summer School Literacy and Professional Learning
The HILL partnered with the Massachusetts DESE to provide 45 hours of comprehensive professional development to approximately 86 educators across four sites through the Summer School Literacy and Professional Learning Grant in Summer 2024.
Closing the Achievement Gap in Connecticut
Since 2012, HILL for Literacy has partnered with the University of Connecticut and the Connecticut State Department of Education to implement the Connecticut Literacy Model (CTLM) – a comprehensive, evidence-based framework for improving reading instruction and outcomes in kindergarten through third grade.
