The Carver Public Schools, in partnership with the HILL for Literacy, is proud to welcome Literacy Coaches, Reading Specialists, and Literacy Leaders from across the South Shore to the fifth year of the South Shore Literacy Coaches Group! Thanks to a generous grant awarded by A.D. Makepeace, Carver is home to the Makepeace Literacy Leadership Center. Our goal is to facilitate opportunities for collaboration to promote and support successful literacy initiatives throughout the South Shore and beyond. The group consists of school and district level literacy leaders. Monthly meetings provide the opportunity for members to network, share, and strategize regarding critical topics in literacy.
